1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — name, email, company name, phone number, and payment information when you subscribe to a paid plan. We also collect usage data including job dispatch records, GPS location data during active jobs, and uploaded photos. Device and browser information is collected automatically for security and service improvement.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide and improve TowMarX services, process dispatches and payments, send job notifications via SMS, verify driver locations through GPS, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. GPS and Location Data
Location data is collected from drivers during active job assignments only — from dispatch acceptance through job completion. This data is used for real-time tracking, mileage calculation, geofence verification, and job documentation. Location tracking stops when a job is completed or cancelled.
4. Photo Storage
Photos uploaded during job completion are stored securely and associated with the relevant job record. These photos are accessible to the dispatcher, the tenant, and the network owner (if applicable). Photos are retained for the duration of your account plus 12 months.
5. SMS Communications
By using TowMarX, you consent to receiving SMS notifications related to job dispatches, status updates, and account alerts. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out of non-essential SMS communications at any time through your account settings.
6. Data Sharing
We share information only as necessary to operate the platform: with Stripe for payment processing, with Twilio for SMS delivery, and with Google Maps for location services. Within the TowMarX platform, job information is shared between dispatchers, tenants, and network owners as needed to fulfill services.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
8. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your personal information through your account settings. You can request a complete data export or account deletion by contacting support@towmarx.com. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.
